The LWV requires a camera or verbal check-in at the start of all of its online meetings. We do this to create a welcoming and open environment where we can hold each other accountable. Individuals unwilling to check-in will be removed from the meeting. To create a space for open and honest discussion, the League also prohibits attendees from recording meetings via AI Otterbox or other recording systems. Virtual Mini- VAN training for Nonpartisan Canvassing
Join the League of Women Voters of Kentucky for a virtual training on mini-VAN on Thursday, July 25 at 6PM. MiniVAN is a digital canvassing app that volunteers will use while knocking on doors and talking to voters. In this training we will cover app navigation, how to canvass using the app, and how to sync your conversations when your shift is over. MiniVAN is easy to use and a great tool to know if you are planning on canvassing.
Canvassing will be one of the activities the LWVKY will be engaging in this election year, so this event is a great opportunity to start learning an additional voter engagement skill.

LWVKY Foundations for the Future: Using the Google Calendar App
Foundations for the Future: Skills to use is a series of virtual trainings for League members and volunteers to teach/review essential technical skills that are necessary for efficiently operating in a modern nonprofit organization environment. These skills are not limited to League work but will also give you an edge in an ever-evolving digital age.
